Konami’s upcoming psychological thriller Silent Hill: Townfall is launching as a PS5 console exclusive, with no mention of Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions, according to the game’s official website.
Silent Hill 2 Remake also arrived exclusively on PS5 and PC back in October 2024, with an Xbox Series X/S not arriving until a year later. However, Silent Hill f was released across PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S upon its launch in September 2025, so it’s curious that Townfall is seemingly eschewing other hardware at this point beyond PS5 and PC.
Silent Hill: Townfall is set in the 1990s and follows American Simon Ordell, who is called back to the island of St. Amelia in Scotland to ‘put things right.’ Upon arriving, he finds the sleepy town quiet and shrouded in heavy fog, apparently abandoned. Simon explores deeper into the town, where he unearths fragments of his past while attempting to understand his connection to St. Amelia and its inhabitants. All Simon has on his person is an IV bag and medical wristband, and is guided by a CRTV he picks up along the way
Silent Hill: Townfall is due out in 2026 for PS5 and PC.
