Ubisoft has announced that a Skull & Bones Open Beta will run February 8 — 11 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S users.
Access is open to everyone and PS5 owners can download the beta client by simply searching for ‘skull and bones’ in the PlayStation Store, or simply by selecting your chosen platform on the Skull and Bones Open Bet page.
In terms of content, Infamy is capped at Tier 6 Rank 1 / Brigand, and any progress you make will be carried over to the full version of Skull and Bones. Furthermore, Cross-Progression and Cross-Play is enabled during the Open Beta. Here’s some more details on what to expect:

Located within the Red Isle is the pirate den of Sainte-Anne. Ruled by John Scurlock, the local Kingpin you’ll deal with as you start your rise to the top of the pirate world. This Den is a safe zone where you can interact with other players, craft your ships, weapons, and equipment with the help of the skilled craftsmen who have made this place their home. You’ll be able to access your warehouse to store loot, repair your ship, sell the commodities you liberated from rich merchants, and more.
Ubisoft also revealed details on Skull & Bones Year 1 content, which will feature four seasons stuffed full of new content, including battles against key figures in the pirate community, sea monsters, new events, and much more.
Skull & Bones is scheduled for release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on February 16, 2024 after numerous delays dating back years.
