Sony Computer Entertainment has started rolling out their identity theft protection program for the rest of Europe. The news comes following an email notification that was sent out to European PlayStation Network users earlier today.
The original email we recieved was in Finnish, however we have a English translation courtesy of PSU community member Justin Titus.
"We have started a partnership with CSIdentity®, a world leader in leader in identityprotection and fraud detection services, to give a great peace of mind for the PlayStation® Network and other related services, such as the PlayStation Store."
The email also contains a unique coupon code, which allows you to "explore" the program prior to registration, however you must register for the program within 60 days of recieving the email.
Upon registering for the ID theft protection program, users will be able to access thew services including CyberAgent™ Internet Control, Identity Recovery and Secure Online Registration.
European PSN users can find more information about Sony’s new ID protection service here.
