The Spider-Man PS5 Remaster will be part of the Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, but developer Insomniac Games has flirted with the possibility of a standalone release of the game. Don’t expect a physical version if this does happen, though.

Insomniac Games has previously revealed a couple of key tidbits about the upcoming of Spider-Man, including the fact it won’t allow you to transfer your save files between PS4 and PS5, and that it’ll feature a separate Trophy list.
Spider-Man was released for the PS4 back in September 2018 and achieved huge success, picking up rave reviews and becoming the most successful superhero game of all time. Spider-Man: Miles Morales meanwhile is due out for PS5 and PS4 on November 12 in the US and November 19 in the UK.
