Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic developer Arcanaut Studios unsurprisingly has a large number of former BioWare staff working on the upcoming sci-fi RPG, with an update on the company’s official website revealing a number of staff have previous experience with the Dragon Age and Mass Effect franchises.
Among the BioWare veterans include Ryan Hoyle (CTO, who worked on the Mass Effect Trilogy and Knights of the Old Republic), Caroline Livingstone (Production and Performance Director, worked on Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age) Melanie Faulknor (Director of External Development, previously involved with Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age II, and Dragon Age Inquisition), and Dan Fessenden (Senior Technical Designer, worked on the original Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic).
Beyond that, we also have Casey Hudson, who serves as CEO and Game Director on the project, who is a Mass Effect veteran in his own right.
Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic was announced during The Game Awards back in December last year. Back in March this year, Pascal Blanché, who previously worked at Ubisoft on the likes of Splinter Cell: Conviction and Myst IV, joined Arcanaut Studios as its studio art director.
