Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Dev Hiring For ‘Brand New IP’

Respawn Entertainment, the studio behind Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Apex Legends, has revealed that it’s staffing up for a new IP.

According to a job advertisement posted on its website, the company is setting up a small team incubation team to produce “a brand new IP.” The ad mentions “new, practical technologies to enable ‘adventuring forever'” but doesn’t provide any further details on the project.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released for PS4, PC and Xbox One in November 2019, and you can read our review of the game here. Apex Legends meanwhile launched in February 2019 and continually receives new content from Respawn in the shape of new seasons and characters.

Given that it’s very early days yet we won’t hear about Respawn’s new IP for a while, although if further details come to light we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
