Rebellion has announced a brand new IP known as Strange Brigade for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
Set in the 1930s, Strange Brigade take the form of a third-person adventure packed full of peril and mystery, with players investigating the remote corners of the British Empire to uncover forgotten civilisations, perilous tombs, and deadly enemies.
There’s a distinct Indiana Jones-esque flavour to the proceedings, as you take on the role of one of four daring adventurers, each one equipped with a unique set of abilities and superhuman powers.
“There are remote corners of the British Empire where the supernatural lurks and the shadows linger, where few dare go and fewer return. In STRANGE BRIGADE™ you’ll encounter fantastic and forgotten civilizations shrouded in mystery, uncover treacherous tombs and test your wits against unfathomable foes…,” reads the press blurb.
Strange Brigade supports one to four players, with gamers able to fight back-to-back against supernatural foes who attack at the bidding of a resurrected Egyptian witch queen. Rebellion has promised more info on the upcoming game will be released at E3 next week, so stay tuned for further details.
