Square Enix seems to have finally got the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin PS5 demo up and running after a few teething issues over the weekend.
The Trial Version of the upcoming Final Fantasy title launched following Square Enix’s E3 2021 presentation Sunday evening, but users reported issues with the demo so no one was able to actually play it.
That’s all fixed now, as noted by Nibel on Twitter:
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is currently in development at Team Ninja for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One with a projected release date of 2022. The game takes the form of an action-RPG and a spinoff to the mainline Final Fantasy series, where a group of heroes are thrust into action take down a Big Bad known as Chaos.
Stranger of Paradise takes place in a dark fantasy setting and features real-time combat, with main protagonist Jack able to switch between two assigned jobs while willing a combination of physical and magical attacks. Given the developer’s pedigree, you can definitely expect a ton of action from this latest Final Fantasy title.
