Capcom has officially lifted the wraps off the Street Fighter 35th anniversary logo, and has teased that fans can look forward to the ‘future development’ of the venerable fighting game franchise. Street Fighter 6, anyone?
The Japanese Street Fighter Twitter account posted the following message:
Street Fighter will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2022. We have created a logo to celebrate the 35th anniversary with our supporters. Please look forward to the future development of the Street Fighter series.

Late last year, Capcom revealed that it was planning on talking about the future of Street Fighter, so there’s a very strong chance we’ll hear something about Street Fighter 6 in 2022.
There’s been a lot of chatter about the next instalment in the Street Fighter series, which at one point was in the pipeline with former Capcom bigwig Yoshinori Ono heading up the project. However, Ono-san has since departed, and the project was handed to another director.
