Street Fighter V will receive a simultaneous worldwide launch in spring 2016, Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono and Tomoaki Ayano have confirmed.
Speaking during a live stream while attending the Hong Kong games convention (via Eventhubs), Ayano-san commented: “We will have a simultaneous [Street Fighter 5] release all across the world. No region will be late, and everyone will be able to play at the same time.
“This is just a small expression of our gratitude to all of the people here in Hong Kong who’ve been supporting Street Fighter for so long,” said Ono-san.
Street Fighter V is due out on PlayStation 4 and PC, although the planned summer beta didn’t get off to a smooth start; after a string of setbacks, Capcom was forced to pull the plug until a later date.
