Longdue Games and Dark Math Games are two brand new game studios both formed by former ZA/UM developers, the team behind the critical darling Disco Elysium.
Both studios were announced this past Friday, and now a third studio formed by more former ZA/UM developers has been revealed in Summer Eternal.
What’s especially intriguing about Summer Eternal is that it’s being led by Argo Tuulik, one of the founders of ZA/UM (he’s the A) and one of the co-creators of Disco Elysium in its original table-top form.
He was also one of the core writers for Disco Elysium, and was a key figure in the controversy between Disco Elysium’s creators and ZA/UM management.
Unlike Longdue and Dark Math, Summer Eternal is not based in the UK but instead will be based in Croatia. The studio’s first project is said to be a narrative RPG, though there aren’t any details beyond that.
