Supermassive Games, the developer behind The Dark Pictures franchise and Until Dawn, has revealed that it’s looking to take on a multiplayer game designer for an unannounced project.
While The Dark Pictures isn’t going anywhere just yet – the series is wrapping up its first season with next year’s outing, which looks to be inspired by Saw – Supermassive is clearly looking beyond that series
Here’s the official post on Twitter and an accompanying blurb:
We are looking for a highly talented, motivated and experienced person to work on new, as yet unannounced project. You will collaborate with design, engineering, art and animation teams to create varied and compelling Multiplayer systems, from combat to progression systems. This position requires someone who likes getting their hands dirty in the engine and tools.
Supermassive Games has traditionally dabbled in single-player experiences with a heavy emphasis on narrative, but The Dark Pictures have included the ability to included multiple people via a pass-the-pad style feature as well as online co-op.
