Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated The Last of Us Part 2 features a whopping 60 different options for accessibility.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Accessibility Options Detailed

Speaking with The Verge, Emilia Schatz, the lead gameplay designer on the sequel, confirmed that The Last of Us Part 3 offers everything from color-blind settings for subtitles, UI scaling, item audio cues, remappable controls, and heaps more.

Accessibility for us is about removing barriers that are keeping players from completing a game. It’s not about dumbing down a game or making a game easy. What do our players need in order to play the game in parity with everyone else?

Matthew Gallant, a designer on the project, added:

We absolutely had to plan these features early in production, It was absolutely critical. We couldn’t have done this if we hadn’t, from the outset, said ‘This is a priority.’

The Last of Us Part 2 is slated for release on PS4 on June 19, and Sony has said the game will run on PS5 without any issues.
