The Quiet Man game, shown off at E3 2018, was one of the most intriguing games to come out of Square Enix’s presentation. Featuring a deaf man beating up a gang of thugs, the initial trailer looked almost like film footage.
The Quiet Man Release Date Confirmed For Japan
The Quiet Man is now set to release on PS4 and PC in Japan on November 1. Priced 1,800 yen, which equates to around $14.99, Square Enix will launch a Limited Edition on the PlayStation Store for a limited time.
This includes The Quiet Man dynamic theme, eight PlayStation Network avatars and a digital copy of the game.
Developed by Human Head Studios, The Quiet Man features a blend of live-action FMV sequences and cut-scenes. In the latest trailer, which you can watch below, you see Dane, a deaf man who is investigating a kidnapping by a man wearing a bird mask.
The game takes place over the course of a single night, and Square Enix has confirmed that it will take around three hours to complete. The Quiet Man takes place in New York City, where Dane uses his senses to seek out clues to the crime.
There’s still a lot that hasn’t been revealed about The Quiet Man, but the stunning blend of live action and hard-hitting gameplay, means this is certainly one to watch out for!
