It’s time to party like it’s 1995, as someone has only gone and remade the introduction sequence to the PSOne and Sega Saturn classic, WipEout!
Uploaded by Benjamin Brosdau to YouTube, the remastered WipEout 1 intro was co-created by Nick Burcombe, and according to Brosdau, initially began development way back in 2009 and was later rebooted, as explained below.
In 2021, I got back to it after finding some old files related to it on my hard drives. I built everything new from scratch, of course technology has come so much further in the meantime as well.

WipEout was originally released for the PSOne in 1995 and later appeared for the Sega Saturn the following year. The game is noted for its high-paced futuristic racing as well as becoming a mainstream success for Sony, and is known for its controversial marketing featuring a bloodstained TV presenter and DJ Sara Cox, which some people likened to a drug overdose.
