A second Assassin’s Creed Remake is reportedly in development at Ubisoft, according to a report on Insider Gaming.
The report states that any future Assassin’s Creed remakes will enter production based on how well the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced performs. While the identity of the game has yet to be announced, it does align with a previous report on Insider Gaming from back in early 2024, where Tom Henderson stated that “another Assassin’s Creed Remake” is in production, which is due out by the “end of the decade” alongside other projects in the series.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will reportedly not feature any DLC or multiplayer, both of which were included in the original 2013 version of the swashbuckling title. However, a previous leak has revealed that the game will feature new content, including a “cast of new characters and stories.”
Ubisoft is set to fully reveal Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on April 23.
