Uncharted HD Remaster teased by Sony — rumor

Sony has seemingly teased a high-definition version of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in a blog post (via Gameranx) for its upcoming PlayStation YouTube app.

As expected, the app allows PS4 users to upload their videos to YouTube effortlessly, something which has been requested since day one.

Interestingly, the image used clearly depicts a snowy region reminiscent of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, although the text below it specifically mentions Nathan Drake’s third PS3 outing. Check it out below.

Of course, this could be complete fabrication on Sony’s part as a means of demonstrating the new app, although it’s interesting to see why they used a game that, as far a we know, isn’t available on PS4.

Rumors have been doing the rounds earlier this year in regards to a HD Remaster of the Uncharted Trilogy, with Naughty Dog admitting it would be ‘really cool to have.’

Of course, there’s no guarantee Sony will end up remastering all three games, and may end up giving just one title the HD treatment.
