The Goose is loose! Sony announced during its latest State of Play broadcast this afternoon that Untitled Goose Games releases for the PlayStation 4 on December 17th!
In case you’ve been honking under a rock for the last few months, Untitled Goose Game is an unusual sort of stealth puzzler where players take control of a mischievous goose who must torment the inhabitants of a sleepy village by locking them in their own garages, stealing their picnic food and much more besides.
Look, it’s basically a great deal of fun and if you have even the smallest inclination towards inventive games that make you smile as much as they tickle your brain, then Untitled Goose Game should be something of a no-brainer, really.

Here’s the lowdown on Untitled Goose Game:
Untitled Goose Game is a slapstick-stealth-sandbox, where you are a goose let loose on an unsuspecting village. Make your way around town, from peoples’ back gardens to the high street shops to the village green, setting up pranks, stealing hats, honking a lot, and generally ruining everyone’s day.
A horrible goose (that’s you).
A town full of people just trying to get on with their day (you hate them).
A dedicated honk button (!!!).

Nonetheless, a State of Play was certainly needed all the same – not least to remind the 100+ million PS4 owners out there that Sony still has their back when it comes to supporting the platform with great first party exclusives and a range of excellent forthcoming third-party support as well.
