According to a leaked IGN ad (via Pure Xbox), Watch Dogs 2 will be released on November 15 for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
In addition, the ad also confirms previous reports that the action-adventure sequel will be set in San Francisco, as evidenced by the shot of the Golden Gate Bridge in the image. It also features a shot of the new protagonist that was previously leaked last month.
Ubisoft will host a world premiere for Watch Dogs 2 tomorrow at 5.00pm BST. Check out the teaser trailer here.
Watch Dogs 2 set for E3 blowout
Watch Dogs 2 will form part of the French publishing giant’s E3 lineup alongside the likes of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and South Park: The Fractured But Whole. As previously mentioned, the game looks set to introduce a brand new hero in place of Aiden Pearce.
Ubisoft has been keeping details on the sequel close to its chest since announcing the game earlier this year, although it has previously said that it will take more risks with the follow-up. In addition, it suggested that Watch Dogs 2 will have a different tone to its predecessor.
The original Watch Dogs was released back in 2014 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game has shipped over 10 million copies worldwide as of January 2015. Read our review of the game here.
