Ubisoft has blown the lid off the Watch Dogs Legion microtransactions, which are governed by a premium currency known as WD Credits used to purchase a variety of in-game content.
Watch Dogs Legion Microtransactions
Players will be able to access an in-game store to spend WD Credits, which can be used to grab cosmetic items, ETO packs, a collectible map, and operative purchases. WD Credits can be purchased using your own hard-earned cash, and feature an exchange rate of about 100 WD Credits for one dollar (or your regional equivalent).
As is the norm with many games nowadays, you can also purchase these credits in bulk via special bundle deals which offer a discount.
Purchased operatives feature unique personalities, outfits, masks and cosmetics to amp up your flair. Their gameplay abilities, traits, and weapons can be found on other Londoners around the city, and they do not offer any gameplay advantages compared with operatives recruited in the game.
Watch Dogs Legion is due for release on October 29 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, and will arrive on Xbox Series X/S on November 10 and PS5 on November 25.
