Blizzard has revealed the Overwatch Season 5 start date and times as Season 4 comes to an end.
The first competitive season of Overwatch starts May 31, in North America and June 1 in Europe. The following times have been confirmed:
May 31
- 5pm PDT
- 8pm EDT
June 1
- 1am BST
- 2am CEST
If you participated in Season 4, which ended on May 28, you’ll grab the following rewards at the start of Overwatch Season 5.

- Hanamura Spray
- Competitive Points [CP]
The following CP rewards will be dished out depending on where you placed, and can be used to purchase golden weapons and other goodies:
- SR 1-1499 (Bronze): 100 CP
- SR 1500-1999 (Silver): 200 CP
- SR 2000-2499 (Gold): 400 CP
- SR 2500-2999 (Platinum): 800 CP
- SR 3000-3499 (Diamond): 1200 CP
- SR 3500-3999 (Master): 2000 CP
- SR 4000-5000 (Grandmaster): 3000 CP
Overwatch Season 5 begins in the same way as other seasons as you participate in 10 placement matches that determine your initial ranking. The higher you place at the end of the Season, the better the reward.
