XSEED announced in its even held tonight that both Ragnarok Odyssey and Orgarhythm are coming to PlayStation Vitas in North America.
Ragnarok Odyssey is a game that’s held a fairly high acclaim in Japan, and Famitsu reviewed it with scores of 9, 8, 8, and 7, giving it a 32 out of 40; a very hearty score indeed. It hit popularity over there, because it has a gameplay style very similar to Monster Hunter. So, MH fans in America can look forward to what’s coming with Ragnarok Odyssey.
Orgarhythm, on the other hand, is a new title, and it’s been described as a rhythm-based combat game, which gives this a certain element similar to what Patapon would be in three-dimensions.
It’s always great news to see the PS Vita getting more, and more diverse, titles; I, for one, have been looking forward to having a Monster Hunter-like game with trophy support for a long time. Even if a Monster Hunter game has been speculated upon for the PS Vita‘s near future, it’s nice to see something like it coming.
