After receiving high acclaim across the board as represented by Metacritic‘s 93 overall and our 9.5, Bloodborne looks to have one issue that greatly trumps long load times.
Early testimonies from Reddit indicate that one key item required in order to progress through certain parts of the game can be glitched so that it doesn’t appear at all, leaving a hearty section of the game inaccessible entirely.
Note: The next few lines will have details on what’s to come, so if spoilers are undesired, then don’t fret, because patch 1.02 is set to release next week. Fans avoiding spoilers may wish to either take a break from exploring the game or refrain from co-op or PvP until the update arrives.
Official word from Sony, according to a report from Destructoid, indicates that the online side of the game is the culprit for this glitch, particularly when playing in a certain forest that’s forbidden. When either online co-op or PvP is initiated in this forest, then a particular key, the Lunarium Key, will not spawn at all.
Luckily, Sony also detailed that this issue will be patched next week once update 1.02 lands. The down side to this is that, while this issue must be assessed, the loading times are likely taking a back seat to this immediate problem, meaning that players will have to wait a little longer for a little while longer.
