The full list of weapons for Star Wars Battlefront has been confirmed by Electronic Arts and DICE this week, giving players a chance to see what blasters are available to Rebel and Empire forces ahead of the game’s release later this month.
The hotly anticipated sci-fi shooter comprises of three weapon categories: pistols, rifles, and heavy blasters, with 11 primary weapons in total available to wield. Each one is ranked in terms of damage, fire rate, cooling power, and range. Blasters in Battlefront won’t utilize a rudimentary ammo system like you would normally see in a first-person shooter; instead, each firearm requires a charge period, similar to how guns worked in Mass Effect. You can see a full list of blasters below, with more info available on the official Star Wars Battlefront site.

In addition, the Star Cards system also received some attention. This feature allows gamers to select equipment and abilities to take into battle, with three slots available to fill alongside each weapon. Each card functions in a different way, however. For example, the Ion Shot can be used a set number of times before the charge is used up, requiring gamers to purchase new charges via in-game credits, or from buffs out in the field. Star Wars Battlefront is due out on November 17 in the U.S. and November 20 in Europe. The game will weigh in at 23GB on PS4 and has been confirmed to run at 900p on Sony’s current-generation console. EA has confirmed that the Battlefront’s planned DLC will include brand new universes and weapons, and that the shooter will not feature microtransactions. Star Wars Battlefront’s beta phase took place last month, and proved a massive success with over nine million gamers participating in the test, who managed to log an eye-watering 1.6 billion minutes of play time.
