Sony has announced on Twitter that a new trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will debut during U.S. showings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens this weekend.
Sadly, that’s about all we have to go on right now, and until the ad starts playing ahead of the hotly anticipated sci-fi sequel, we probably won’t get to see anything of it. We can also confirm that it’s definitely not being shown in the U.K., as a member of PSU saw the film last night and had to make do with an ad for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Uncharted 4 has received quite a lot of new footage as of late. First up, the PlayStation 4-exclusive was showcased during the Game Awards 2015, where we caught a glimpse of an all-new female character, Nadine, giving Nathan Drake a solid kicking. Not long after, Sony lifted the lid on a lengthy cinematic at the PlayStation Experience depicting the reunion between Drake and his brother, Sam. Finally, we were also treated to some new footage of Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan attending a lavish party alongside Nadine.
Developed by Naughty Dog, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be hitting PS4 on March 18, 2016. The game takes place a few years after the events of 2011’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and sees everyone’s favorite cocky fortune hunter coming out of a quiet life with Elena to pursue a legendary pirate’s treasure. His globe-trotting adventure will take him to the remote islands of Madagascar, and reuintes him with his long-lost brother, Sam, as the pair battle against a mercenary group bent on grabbing the loot for themselves.

Also returning to the fold is Uncharted’s celebrated multiplayer component, which has received something of an overhaul with all-new gameplay features, chief among which is the Mysticals. These take the franchise’s signature supernatural elements and turn them into a deadly weapon against your enemies, while players can also call on AI-controlled buddies to help them out when things get rough.
