The No Man’s Sky Path Finder update is live soon!
Hello Games has announced plans for a new No Man’s Sky update known as Path Finder, ostensibly a little nod from the developer to the impending release of Mass Effect Andromeda from BioWare.
As if the Path Finder title wasn’t enough of a subtle hint at the upcoming sci-fi RPG, the contents of the update also features a new ground vehicle to be used for exploration—similar to the Nomad found in Andromeda, which is again used to facilitate the player’s journey across rough terrain. Coincidence? Maybe, although we’ve known about the buggy dropping for some time now.
Regardless, Hello Games has confirmed that the PC version of the latest No Man’s Sky patch will drop next week, so presumably the PS4 edition won’t be too far behind. The news comes following creator Sean Murray’s talk at GDC last week, where he outlined continued supported for the beleaguered space-exploration title.
No Man’s Sky was released for PS4 in August 2016 and suffered from numerous setbacks at launch, with critics slamming the title for failing to include all the promised features that Hello Games had been championing through its development.
We’ll update this article when the No Man’s Sky Path Finder update patch notes land.
