Destiny 2 Nightfall changed as users report issues with strike

Bungie has confirmed that the Destiny 2 Nightfall has been changed up following a series of reported issues with the mission.

Destiny 2 Nightfall issues plague weekly reset

The original Nightfall for this week, which launched via the weekly reset on Tuesday, was Exodus Crash. However, due to reporter issues by players, Bungie has switched it up, so you’ll now be facing Pyramidion.

To mitigate issues encountered by players in the Exodus Crash Nightfall strike, this week’s Nightfall has been changed to Pyramidion,” said Bungie.

Destiny 2 is offline for maintenance today for four hours, after which you’ll be able to download the latest title update.

Bungie has rolled out a number of key additions for its shared-world shooter this month. First up, the new Faction Rallies signaled the return of classic vendors such as New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, and Future War Cult.

Last week meanwhile players got to grips with the first Destiny 2 Iron Banner event, which wrapped on Tuesday.

Looking ahead, we have the first batch of Destiny 2 DLC due in December 2017. According to previous reports, the expansion will focus on the Hive and will be titled Curse of Osiris.

Those of you hoping for a return of Destiny’s Prison of Elders however will be disappointed to learn it’s not on the cards.
