Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 has seemingly leaked online in a document that has been doing the rounds on social media over the weekend.
According to the document, Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 is known internally as Project Macondo, and is penciled in for release during the third quarter of 2025. Furthermore, it’s stated the game will serve as a full sequel to the original Aliens Fireteam Elite, and includes a spin on the traditional Horde Modes seen in other shooters known as Annihilation Mode.

The document adds that “unlike Aliens Fireteam Elite, Project Macondo will feature fixed preset character archetypes and non-customisable characters.” It will also not feature any micro transactions, loot boxes or gacha mechanics, and in-game voice chat isn’t apparently on the cards either.
The original Aliens Fireteam Elite was developed by Cold Iron Studios and launched in 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
