Ubisoft’s as-yet unannounced Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection will be released on November 17 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to a listing on Amazon Italy.
The site claims that the bundle, which was previously leaked via marketing materials obtained by GameBlog, will feature high-definition remasters of Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations.
In addition, all available downloadable content is included alongside two short films focusing on Ezio’s adventures outside of the games. This backs up previous claims by GameBlog, who added that the remasters will feature enhanced textures.
As mentioned, Ubisoft has yet to announce the Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection, although it’s only a matter of time until we hear something official.
Assassin’s Creed 2 was originally released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2009, and is widely considered one of the best entries in the stealth-action franchise to date. Its sequels followed in 2010 and 2011, establishing Ubisoft’s annual release schedule for the series.
Despite seeing yearly releases, the publishing giant announced earlier this year that Assassin’s Creed will be rested in 2016, with the next new chapter—rumored to be titled Assassin’s Creed Empires—arriving next year.
In the meantime, the movie adaptation of Assassin’s Creed, starring Michael Fassbender, is due in cinemas this December.
