Battlefield 6 Open Beta Servers Are Packed With Over 40,000 Players Waiting To Jump Into The Action

The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is gearing up first of two phases this weekend, and to say it’s attracting a lot of attention is something of an understatement, as it’s been reported that over 40,000 people are packing out the servers waiting for the beta to kick off.

As noted by Insider Gaming, the servers for Battlefield 6 are now completely full as users eagerly await the Open Beta’s kick off on Saturday (or tomorrow if you are gaining early access). The exact figure at the time of their time of publication was locked at 40,040, and was accompanied by the following message: “The game servers are currently at max capacity. You have been placed in a queue. You will be connected to online services as soon as there is available space.”

As previously reported, PS5 owners can now download the Open Beta client to preload ahead of this weekend’s rollout, and it has been confirmed by DICE that console versions of Battlefield 6 will support mouse and keyboard input. While we’re on the subject of multiplayer for the upcoming shooter, the game’s developer has revealed that bots will be employed to fill out the servers if there aren’t enough players; something which clearly isn’t an issue at the moment!

Battlefield 6 will debut on October 10, 2025 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
