Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II Content Will Be Transferable To Call Of Duty 2023, First Details To Come With Season 5 Reveal

On Monday, Activision seemingly confirmed that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is at the very least on its way, as the game everyone believes will be Call Of Duty 2023 was mentioned by that name in a DMCA strike.

Now, courtesy of a Twitter poll from the official Call Of Duty account, we know that not only will the content from Modern Warfare II be transferable to Call Of Duty 2023, we’ll also be getting our first details about this year’s Call Of Duty game along with the Season 5 announcement for Modern Warfare II.

Call Of Duty 2023 allegedly began as DLC for Modern Warfare II before being expanded into a full release, and for now there’s still plenty we don’t know about what this year’s Call Of Duty will be, besides everyone pointing to it being Modern Warfare 3.

Even though this would break the pattern Activision has established between its main studios between Sledgehammer, Infinity Ward, Treyarch and Raven, that it may have begun as DLC for Modern Warfare II is very indicative of what we can expect to see.
