Capcom has teased a number of reveals prior to E3 2019. When discussing their booth plans at this year’s show the team announced that we will receive some updates on June 6, 2019, with no further details given.
June 6, 2019, is this Thursday and that happens to be the same day that Google will be holding its first Stadia Connect event. This event will feature new game announcements, pricing reveals and a release date for the streaming platform. What could Capcom be holding for this event?
The safest guess is that Monster Hunter: World will be coming to the platform. However, this is E3 week and we have to throw out some crazy predictions. The first possibility is Dragon’s Dogma 2 being revealed, a sequel to the beloved action-adventure RPG. Of course, we have to throw Resident Evil into the arena. Will we see Resident Evil 8 or maybe the remake of Resident Evil 3?
Monster Hunter World is set to receive a large expansion this September. Iceborne will add a new map to explore, a selection of new monsters and a bunch of new weapons and armor sets. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releases for PlayStation 4 on September 6.
E3 is set to host eleven different press conferences. You can watch all of the livestreams, as well as every conference pre-show and post-show at E3 2019 on our E3 2019 Livestream page.
