Concord Concord November 2023 Build Firewalk Studios News PS5 Sony

Concord PS5 Pre-Release Build Dated November 2023 Leaks Online

Concord shut its doors for good around 10 months ago, but now an early build of the ill-fated Firewalk Studios online multiplayer shooter dated November 14, 2023 has emerged online.

The build is titled FWChaos and was uploaded just a few days ago, with this particular version of the game assembled around nine months prior to Concord’s troubled launch in August 2024. Furthermore, website VGC has revealed that it has downloaded the build to check its authenticity, and it appears to be the real deal.

As for its contents, this November 2023 build of Concord has a login screen that oddly can’t be passed once booted up, but the included .ini file allows you to access a developer menu, which when applied takes you to the screen Select Freegunner. However, no Freegunners appear on the screen, which means you can’t select anyone to progress beyond this menu. Despite this, a pause menu is accessible which can take you to the Main Menu, where you can view a number of features including the Galactic Guide and Crew section.

Beyond this, VGC notes that a Job Board featuring placeholder text and a Store option are also included, alongside a Settings menu featuring options including Developer Matchmaking and a style guide for fonts. Of course, the main roadblock for this Concord build is the game’s online requirement, so currently it’s not possible to progress beyond these menus or select a Freegunner.

Concord was released in August 2024 for PS5 after a lot of pre-launch hype, although sadly the game failed to attract a significant audience, and lukewarm reviews probably didn’t help matters either. Sony made the decision to pull the game offline after two weeks, and later confirmed that Concord would be shuttered permanently and Firewalk Studios would be closing down.

Sony’s Hermen Hulst recently revealed that Sony has restructured its development and review process, with the format holder vowing not to repeat Concord’s mistakes.
