Destiny 2 PS4 Pro support incoming
Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 will be receiving PS4 Pro and Xbox One X support next month.
The update will arrive on December 5, which is the same day as the first batch of Destiny 2 DLC, Curse of Osiris, arrives on the scene.
Both versions of the game will receive HDR support, while PS4 Pro owners will benefit from an ‘adaptive’ 4K resolution. The Xbox One X update includes 4K resolution support.
In addition, Bungie confirmed that the Destiny 2 weekly reset will move from its usual 10.00am morning slot to 5.00pm U.K. time.
In the meantime, be sure to check out Xur, Agent of the Nine’s latest wares. You’ll find him at Nessus this week, where he’s flogging a variety of exotic-flavored Guardian helmets.
Destiny 2 seasons detailed by Bungie
Bungie recently outlined its plans for Destiny 2 going forward, confirming the shared-world shooter will be split into seasons. One of the first additions for the game will be known as The Dawning, which adds a wintery flavor to the Tower among other extra content.
Meanwhile, those of you who have grinded all the way to the current level and power cap will be pleased to learn that Curse of Osiris will raise both of them.
Destiny 2 launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early September, with a PC release arriving the following month.
Physical sales were down in comparison to the original 2014 alien shooter, and despite a strong start its player base has slowly dwindled since launch.
Recently, Bungie admitted that it’s starting to ‘look beyond’ the Destiny franchise to its next project.
