Destiny 2’s next expansion has been leaked ahead of its official reveal later this week. A ResetEra post reveals that Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is the next major expansion for the shared-world shooter.
Along with the name, we got the first promotional art for the expansion, as well as a paragraph of text describing the next adventure.
The next chapter in the Destiny experience arrives this fall as terrifying shadows descend upon a fogotten moon. Return to the lunar surface. Journey deep into a mysterious enemy citadel. Become a slayer of nightmares.
The promotional art reveals that the game will be available for pre-order once it is officially revealed. You can see the full promotional art above. Clearly, we will be returning to the moon, which hasn’t been featured since the first game. However, what will we be facing? Hive or something entirely new?
The next expansion for Destiny 2 is set to be revealed on June 6. There we will likely get even more information about the expansion and gameplay changes, as well as the announcement of the release date.
