Ubisoft has lifted the lid on the Far Cry 5 DLC that will arrive post-launch. Purchase the Far Cry 5 Season Pass and all downloadable content is available as part of the package and includes three DLC packs and live events for Far Cry Arcade.
We've played the Far Cry 5 Arcade recently, and it promises to be a fantastic experience. We're also pretty hyped after our hands-on experience with the main campaign. Also available as part of the Far Cry 5 Gold Edition, the three pieces of Far Cry 5 DLC content includes:
- Hours of Darkness:Players will travel back in time to Vietnam to battle against Việt Cộng soldiers and save their fellow soldiers
- Dead Living Zombies:Players will team up with friends to fight waves of zombies across seven different scenarios cooked up by a b-movie director
- Lost on Mars:Players will leave Earth behind to go toe-to-claws with martian arachnids to save Earth from an alien invasion
Far Cry 5 Live Events Incoming
Live events will also launch in Far Cry 5 after release and players will be able to pick up additional rewards, including skins, which are gained from completing various challenges. Additionally, Season Pass owners will also get access to the Far Cry 3 Classic Edition. This will be available as a standalone purchase later in the summer.
There's a big surprise for fans of Ubisoft's other games! In Far Cry Arcade, you'll be able to use assets from Assassin's Creed Unity, Black Flag, Watch Dogs and other games to create your own missions, which can be shared online. The possibilities are endless!
The Far Cry 5 release date is currently set for 27 March 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
