Final Fantasy 7 Remake PS4 Price Cut

Final Fantasy 7 is now up to 34% off the usual asking price, although you’ll have to get in quick as the offer runs out on August 19. Still, for a game that’s only been out for about three-and-a-half months, it’s a fantastic opportunity to see what all the fuss is about.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is the first entry in a multi-part project to completely overhaul the seminal 1997 PSOne JRPG. Square Enix has revealed that the second part is already in development, and the impact of COVID-19 should hopefully be pretty small despite the disruption caused by the virus globally.

What isn’t known at this point is how many parts Final Fantasy 7 Remake will consist of, but you can be sure that future instalments will be released on PS5. The current game’s PS4 exclusivity is only for 12 months, so it will eventually come to other formats, too.

Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura has said that he wants to release Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 ‘as soon as possible.’
