Final Fantasy VII Revelation looks like it could be receiving a host of DLC including a Story Expansion Pass, according to leaks emerging from the Epic Games Store.
While Square Enix hasn’t announced anything about supporting the final chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy with DLC, the database leaks indicate that we’re getting a host of post-launch support. Many of these listed are DLC packs that are most likely cosmetic items and other in-game extras, but the Story Expansion Pass suggests something bigger is in the pipeline. It’s not hard to imagine either, as FFVII Remake receive the Yuffie-centric Intergrade story expansion.
Final Fantasy Revelation was announced during Summer Game Fest back in June, and in the weeks that followed we received a number of new details on the project. Among the info share by director Naoki Hamaguchi is the fact players will be able to revisit locations from FFVII Rebirth and explore an a larger open-world, as well as the ability to hit Level 99 and battle option WEAPONS. Furthermore, these mammoth bosses, which in the original FFVII were among the toughest fights in the game, will also be given their own narrative component.
Square Enix will publish Final Fantasy Revelation in Spring 2027 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
