Rockstar Games has said that it’s fully aware that it needs to ‘exceed expectations’ with the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.
The next chapter in the open-world crime series was officially announced as in development earlier this year, and Rockstar confirmed last week that it’s effectively closing the book on Red Dead Online in order to move more resources to GTA 6.

GT 6 has yet to attract a release date, but numerous reports have suggested that the game will turn up no earlier than 2025. Development has reportedly hit various road bumps, and the project was supposedly rebooted in 2019.
Given how far away the game still is, we can safely assume that GTA 6 will launch only for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
