It’s official: Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is the fastest-selling PlayStation PC game in the UK, with first week sales 26% higher that the previous PlayStation Studios PC release, God of War.
In the wider scheme of things, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered performs well compared to general PC releases, ranking fourth behind Elden Ring, Total War: Warhammer 3, and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Developed by Insomniac Games, Marvel’s Spider-Man was originally released for the PS4 in September 2018, and was remastered as part of the Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition in November 2020.

The PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered was handled by Nixxes, who Sony acquired just last year.
Meanwhile, Insomniac Games is working on a full-blown sequel, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is currently in development for PS5 and will see the Wall-Crawler teaming up with Miles Morales to take down Venom.
