Monster Hunter World Update – The Witcher 3 Crossover Drops February

In a new Monster Hunter World update, players can look forward to a new cross-over with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Fans will be able to step into the boots of the lead character, Geralt of Riva for some serious monster-slaying!

Capcom has confirmed that the free title update for The Witcher Crossover will be available to download on PS4 on February 8, 2019.

Monster Hunter World Update Release Date Confirmed

Quests will be inspired by the Witcher series and combat will see you pulling off some off Geralt’s stylish moves. According to Capcom: “Monster Hunter: World players get to utilize his signature fighting style, seamlessly blending swordplay, combat magic, and an assortment of monster hunting equipment.”

Additionally, Geralt will be voiced by the orignal actor, Doug Cockle. This will be a free update that will first release on PS4 and Xbox One. A PC launch will follow.

Capcom says: “The quest for this collaboration is really unique because it mixes Monster Hunter: World gameplay along with the RPG elements of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to create a really fresh experience we think is going to appeal to fans of both series. You’ll see that coming early in 2019. We couldn’t have done it, of course, without the close collaboration of CD Projekt Red. We’re still working with them right now on the content and I think you’re really going to enjoy it.”
