Square Enix has released a brand new Final Fantasy XVI trailer titled Ambition, which offers over four minutes of new footage on the RPG including plenty of action-packed combat to sink your teeth into.

Final Fantasy XVI is currently in development for PS5 and PC, with a targeted release window of Summer 2023.
Naoki Yoshida, the game’s producer, revealed earlier this year that the developer opted not to implement turn-based combat in order to attract a younger audience, and admitted that its combat system won’t please everyone.
Furthermore, FF16 isn’t an open-world title, as Yoshida-san said that doing so would take the development years to make the game.
Elsewhere, Yoshida revealed that Final Fantasy XVI will include British English only — no American accents here, folks — and that the game’s lovable pooch has a name and may even be added as a party member.
