Obi-Wan Kenobi star Ewan McGregor has hinted that the upcoming TV series based on his iconic character could tie-in with the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2.
Speaking on the Jimmy Kimmel show this week ahead of the launch of the Disney+ show, which takes place in between the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, McGregor and mentioned a video game that could be a Fallen Order sequel.
McGregor heaped praise the show’s director, Deborah Chow, for her comprehensive knowledge of all things Star Wars, which he said was important as “all of the storylines have to…match up” and you “can’t have some fact in a video game that doesn’t match up to the movie.”

While he doesn’t mention the game by name, it’s worth pointing out that Fallen Order and Obi-Wan Kenobi take place around the same time, and also feature The Inquisitors as villains.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 has been confirmed by EA as being in development, but has not yet attracted a release date. However, it has been reported that the game won’t launch until 2023. In addition it’s been claimed the sequel will skip PS4 and Xbox One entirely.
