After the name being trademarked last week. It appears that EA and Popcap can’t escape leaks when it comes to the next Plants Vs. Zombies shooter. Now, the Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville reveal trailer has leaked online confirming the name of the game and a number of playable Plants and Zombies.
Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville Reveal Trailer
The Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville reveal trailer comes from ThePlayStationBrah Youtube Channel and it showcases the first glimpses of gameplay and the first official piece of art at the end.
We get a confirmation of multiple returning plants including the Sunflower, Peashooter, Torchwood, and more. On the Zombie side, we get confirmation that the Engineer, All-Star, Imp and more are returning. This doesn’t even include the new plants and zombies that appear in the trailer including a female zombie who is riding on a UFO type kart thingy.
Either way, not much is known about the game as of now, although a playtest was held earlier this month for the title, which is codenamed “Picnic.” You can watch the leaked trailer below:
As mentioned earlier, the name of the game was trademarked last week by EA, suggesting that a reveal is scheduled sometime soon, possibly at Gamescom 2019, which begins next week. Gamescom Opening Night Live is set to feature announcements from EA, so a reveal of this title is possible. EA are already scheduled to announce the next Need For Speed game tomorrow. So, they could be saving their big announcement for the German convention.
I am excited to get a glimpse of Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville, as I enjoyed both of the other games and find them to be a lot of silly fun.
Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville is expected to be revealed soon for PS4.
