Sony has officially pushed software update 4.50, which is the newest firmware for the PlayStation 3.
In addition to our initial report on the update, Sony also included this subtle change:
"PlayStation Network" is now "PSN". In accordance with this change, the [PlayStation Network] category has been renamed [PSN].
Alongside this, more details on "whether to show trophies" have surfaced. According to the Main Features listing that accompanies update 4.50, it states that users who wish to hide trophy sets press triangle on a particular game’s trophy list and select [Privacy Settings] in the menu that appears on the right of the screen.
What games do you trophy hunters wish to hide? Now, those who completed Hannah Montana can hide their shame; unfortunately, many of us will already know.
