PS4-exclusive Uncharted 4 is still insanely popular in the U.K. despite influx of new games

Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has nabbed its second week at the top of the U.K. All Format Chart, despite sales dropping by 78 percent.

The critically acclaimed action-adventure sequel, which debuted on May 10 following a series of delays, held off competition from the likes of DOOM and new entry Homefront: The Revolution, the latter of which entered the charts at no.3.

It was a pretty good week for Sony’s console, as the PS4-exclusive remaster of Valkyria Chronicles managed to hit sixth place amidst a heap of multiformat titles.

Uncharted 4 marks the end of an era for Naughty Dog and protagonist Nathan Drake, with the Santa Monica outfit cutting ties with the franchise after nearly a decade.

While it is unknown what the company is working on next, the former Crash Bandicoot developer has confirmed it has at least one more game coming out for PS4. It’s also working on single-player DLC for Uncharted 4 as well as a host of multiplayer additions for the game.
