Sony is gearing up for the PS5 reveal in less than two hours, but it’s now apparently been revealed just how long the event will last. According to findings by Twitter user Daniel Ahmad, Sony will dedicate just over 50 minutes to talking about PS5’s horsepower.

PS5 Reveal Event Is Under An Hour?
While nothing has been confirmed by Sony itself, the recent Road to PS5 video that’s been uploaded by the format holder hides a little secret. If you click on it when it’s embedded on a website, it’s possible to see a length of 52 minutes and 45 seconds – the probable run time for Sony’s reveal event.

This is a lot shorter than the PS4 reveal, which took place in February 2013 and was just over two hours in length. Mark Cerny, the lead system architect for the PS5 who will be heading up today’s event, was also one of the main speakers during the PS4 reveal.
The PS5 is currently pencilled in for a holiday 2020 release, and right now, there are no delays in sight despite the panic surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19.
