Resident Evil 4 Remake is the latest instalment of the long-running franchise to receive a brand new remake. Much like its previous instalments Resident Evil 4 Remake features a plethora of collectables and secrets to find. In our Resident Evil 4 Remake Collectables Guide, we go over where to find all 16 Clockwork Castellans, 104 Treasures and 19 Merchant Requests, including all Bule Madalion locations.
Chapter 9 features ten treasures, two Merchant Requests and one Castellan. Here are their locations in the order in which they can be found.
Castellan 9
As you head down into the maze, head to the northwest part of your map to find this Castellan behind some boxes.
Treasure: Elegant Chessboard
East of the maze when looking at your map.
Treasure 2: Depraved Idol
Now that Ashely is back with you go back to the Wine Cellar from the opened gate the monks came in from after solving the maze flag puzzle. In the Wine Cellar, a treasure in the northeast of the wine cellar requires you to boost Ashely up to unlock the door from the other side. Be aware that a Plaga Knight will come alive and attack. This is a good indicator you are in the correct room. (It’s important to grab this treasure now, as you won’t be able to return to it later in the game).
Treasure 3: Alexandrite
You will find this treasure in a silver container hanging on one of the statues on your right side.
Merchant Request: Destroy the Blue Medallions 4
In the save room, the Merchant sitting on the desk next to the typewriter.
Blue Medallion 1
The first Medallion is located in the hall outside the save room. Head to the hall entrance from where you entered from the maze and look to the left. You will see it hanging on the wall.
Blue Medallion 2
Head to the statue at the end of the hall and find this Medallion hanging on the ceiling behind a pillar.

Blue Medallion 3
Head upstairs, and you will find this Medallion hidden within the chandelier’s lights.
Blue Medallion 4
While upstairs, head south into the Gallary. After dealing with all the enemies, head south on your map, and look for this Medallion hanging on the pillar.
Blue Medallion 5
Back upstairs, head to the Armory north of the gallery. Run around the circular room to the south side and look up to find this Medallion hanging above a chair.
Blue Medallion 6
He3ad back downstairs and head into the Dining Hall, located left of the chimaera stature where Medallion 2 was. Head to the end of the dining hall and look through the last window on the right side to find this Medallion.
Merchant Request: More Pest Control (You Won’t Be Able To Finish This Request Until Chapter 10 Where The Third Rat Is Located)
This request is located right in front of the door leading to the Dining Hall.
Rat 1
The first Rat is located in the Dining Hall, where the sixth Medallion is in this guide.
Rat 2
After defeating all the Plaga Knights in the Armory, head down into the hallway leading back to the main hall. Find this Rat running around in the hall.
Small Key
You can find this key inside a cabinet on the second floor in a small room leading into the Armory on your left-hand side.
Cubic Device (Required For Locked Treasures In The Castle)
This device is in a treasure chest in the same hall as Rat 2. It’s impossible to miss.
Treasure 4: Yellow Diamond
Return to the Gallery and look for a chest on the bottom floor. This chest only appears after you raise the platform. Its located right underneath it.
Treasure 5: Butterfly Lamp
Head back into the save room with the Cubic Device in hand and use it on the locked box next to the fireplace. Solving the Cube puzzle will unlock the treasure.
Treasure 6: Justitia Statue
In the save room, an elevator will lead down to a Gondola. Ride this Gondola to return to the Audience Chamber. Here you will find another Cubic box in the top left corner of the map.
Treasure 7: Gold Bar
The Audience Chamber has a locked desk on the north wall. Use the Small Key you found in the room leading to the Armory.
Treasure 8: Elegant Perfume Bottle
As you take control of Ashley and are in the library. Look for a bookshelf you can crawl underneath after the Plaga Knight comes to life after you acquire Keys on a Ring.
Treasure 9: Sapphire
On the second floor, after using the elevator, run behind the bookshelf to find this chest on the left side.
Treasure 10: Emerald
This treasure is located in the room right past the Mausoleum. You’ll know the room when the Plaga Knights aren’t able to follow you. Look for the treasure behind some shelves.
