During this time, Saros users have logged 6.63 million hours in Housemarque’s latest PS5 title, and have vanquished 863 million enemies. Hungry for more stats? Then you’ll probably be interested to know that players have killed 3.08 million bosses in Saros since its release, and have collected 101.67 billion Lucenite.

Earlier this month, an analyst firm predicted that Saros had sold 300,000 copies during its first two weeks on sale, but noted that the game may “struggle to break even” due to its high development costs.

You can read our Saros review here, where PSU’s John-Paul Jones proclaimed that Housemarque’s latest effort has elevated “the roguelike subgenre into the stratosphere.”

Saros combines elements of bullet hell, third-person shooting, and roguelike content, with players controling Arjun Devraj (portrayed by Rahul Kohli), a Soltari Enforcer investigating a lost off-world colony on Carcosa. Saros puts a major focus on persistent resource and progression mechanics, allowing you to permanently upgrade your loadout with new weapons and suit enhancements for future playthroughs after each death.
