Shenmue 3 DLC has been outed in a listing for the Digital Deluxe Edition for the game on the PlayStation Store, which will arrive as part of a Season Pass for the martial arts-flavoured sequel. There’s no details yet about what DLC will actually be released for Yu Suzuki’s PlayStation 4 and PC title, but this will obviously mark the first time a Shenmue game has received post-launch support.
Shenmue 3 DLC Coming With Season Pass
The Shenmue 3 Digital Deluxe Edition will feature a copy of the long-awaited sequel and the DLC Pass, which features the Burning Sandstorm Advanced Technique Storm. This version of the game will run you back £69.99 in the UK and $74.99 in the US.
Shenmue 3 is scheduled for release on November 19. Check out the latest gameplay footage from the open-world actioner here. Shenmue 3 picks up following the events of its 2001 Dreamcast predecessor, as we find Ryo Hazuki continuing his journey to a rural village in China. There’s mini-games, forklift driving, punching people in the face, and looking for sailors. Okay, that last one is probably not happening.
The game was announced during Sony’s E3 2015 press conference, and eventually went on to raise over $7 million on Kickstarter.
